Two rolls of Ilford XP2 + Rick

The following shots are the result of a photographic adventure in which 2 rolls of Ilford XP2 (a very sharp, high contrast film) were unleashed on Rick.

There's a genre of portrait photography that involves taking many shots in succession; the results are interesting because each one has a subtly different expression.  That is what is involved here.

From here on, the exposure setting wasn't optimal and the contrast is really high (a problem intrinsic to this type of film), but the expressions in these shots are nice anyway.  (This was in the pre-digital days, so there was no feedback until the film came back developed.)

Being the subject of so much photographic attention must have been tiring.

Photo session over!
